Strop your carving knife and with the help of Nick, an expert woodcarver, get ready to carve and lightly paint a delightful shorebird. This class works best for those with some experience with figurative carving. This freestanding carving will look great on a shelf or mantle back home.

Nick Scheuer has been carving birds since he was a Boy Scout 40 years ago. He has developed a coloring system as popular as his rustic, whittled, carving style. His colorful songbird carvings may be seen at Longbranch Gallery in Mineral Point.
Workshops
Add the $115 Woodlanders Day Fee for Saturday (or $60 Half-Day Fee) to your cart, then select as many Saturday workshops as you wish, ensuring that your choices don’t overlap times. Materials fees listed at the end of each workshop description will be added to the shopping cart as you make your selections.
Day fees include: your choice of workshops, lunch, snacks, beverages, and evening activities. Thursday and Sunday registrants are welcome to attend evening events on Friday or Saturday.
Half-day fees include: your choice of morning/afternoon workshops, am/pm snacks, and beverages. Does NOT include lunch, which can be purchased separately.
