Let us help! Rent one or more of our buildings or outdoor spaces including Alley Stage.

Join us in supporting and engaging in our arts education programming and historic preservation at Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts.

From late winter through November, we offer scores of workshops for adults ranging from introductory half-day casses to multi-day in-depth classes and retreats. Our instructors are drawn from a wealth of creative talents and include nationally known artists from around the world and across the street. Class sizes are small and afford plenty of personal attention. All skill levels are welcome.

Our five guest spaces – in the Coach House on
our main campus and The Sardeson building downtown – are charming and unique.
Your stay with us supports our arts and crafts educational programming and the historic preservation of our buildings and grounds. And don’t forget: Students taking Shake Rag Alley workshops are eligible for a 10% discount.

An idyllic setting for outdoor events, Shake Rag Alley also offers cozy historic buildings, the natural limestone amphitheater of Alley Stage, and ample space for large gatherings in the Lind Pavilion. Whether a wedding or reunion, private workshop or corporate meeting, we offer inspiration in abundance!
