Make fabulous looking beads using unconventional jewelry materials that you probably already have at home or can pick up inexpensively at your local hardware store—paper, fabric, wire, vinyl tubing, telephone wire casing and more. These beads are not only easy and fun to make, but also can be done in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit any design. Use them to embellish mixed media or fiber arts projects…or, incorporate them into your jewelry pieces for a truly unique look. (Project fee waived for middle and high school students!)
