My belief is that every hand stitch in imbued with memory and that paying tribute to the materials we use is an important part of the creative process. This hand-stitching workshop puts sustainability in the forefront; utilizing vintage materials we create a connection to the past and an opportunity to honor how cotton comes into existence: seed to cloth. The texture created by applying hand stitching becomes the superstar of a sustainable, mindful practice.
