Don’t worry if you’ve never drawn a face or if you hate drawing faces, by the end of this course, you will have a newfound confidence drawing simple, satisfying faces and a love of portraits! After drawing the face and shading with a variety of techniques to create character and dimension (oil paint sticks, acrylic paint, watercolor, and more), play with transparency, allowing previous layers to “peek” through. You will come away with several different portraits showing the exact steps of the process so that you can easily recreate these again and again.
