Re-Leafed, or the Ancient Art of Eeep Making

I call my tin assemblages “Eeeps” and have been making them for 15 years. Each year they change and this year is no exception! We will begin by altering a metal tin for the body of our figurative sculptures. I will teach you basic cold-connection methods and a variety of techniques for altering metal … including leaf printing on metal! I will demonstrate a quick and easy way to make molds and have a variety of molds available to make fabulous faces for your sculptures. We will then create a small book … or whatever else you can imagine inside the belly of your Eeep! You will leave with at least one figurative sculpture, two if you work fast. Eeeps approximately 12” x 6” after adding found objects.
