Primitive Folk Art Stitchery

Folk art is an expression of cultural heritage and traditions within a community. The “child-like” art can easily be accomplished by those without formal art training. In this class, you will create either a landscape or still life with fabrics, hand stitching, buttons, trims, and ephemera. Your work will be an original and may contain personal memorabilia if desired. The final stitched piece may be used as a wall hanging, journal cover, table topper, pillow, etc.
