New Dimensions in Collage

This is a fun class in which you will be enriching the surface of your collages by exploring ways to add depth and texture to your work. Instead of being confined to the flat collage plane, we will be playing with many ways to enhance the surface space — from embossing and molding clay elements that will be attached, to exploring many techniques to shape, alter and texture paper and fabric. This will lead to a new way to dynamically activate your art work into 3-dimensional space.
