Living Mixed Media

Create a series of abstract mixed media paintings influenced by your life. Have you noticed we all gravitate to similar things over and over? During this class, we will dig deep and discover what lights us up. Using this information, we will move into abstract work that highlights those things we love. We start with loose self expression and work with a three-step process that allows success for all levels of artists. We will consider composition, value changes, shape, texture, and color as we work across several substrates. Be prepared for magic as our explorations propel us forward with intent. Bring your working art journal along, and smart phone with photos for inspiration.
