Into the Garden Book

Come create an imaginary garden book filled with intuitive ink, acrylic, watercolor, and collage. Mark making and color washes will be the first step and we’ll finish up with the book cover with vellum and tissue layers over wood. This will be a fast-paced expressive experience where perfection goes out the window! Explore book construction using a long stitch and open spine technique. A brilliant array of sari ribbons for the binding, metal adornments, and a translucent page to develop with color pencils and ink. We’ll play with watercolors, acrylics, and collage techniques, building a beautiful garden of color and light.
