Retaining Summer’s Bounty: Dried Flowers and Wreath-making

In this workshop you will learn about drying fresh flowers and using dried flowers to create wreaths. You will learn about the methods for drying including pros and cons of each, which flowers do well using each method, and how drying impacts color. You’ll learn about various base and wire forms and when to use each. You will have access to all of the dried flowers that we grow on our farm to actually create an 8″ to 14″ wreath depending on your flower choices. You’ll learn how to layer, create patterns, and develop a color story. Material fee includes wire cutters, garden shears, frame, wire, and all the dried flowers you’ll need to take home a beautiful and unique wreath of your own.
