Waterlilies, Watercolor & Monet

Monet made a huge contribution to the world of art with his monumental waterlily paintings. We will study and be inspired by Monet’s use of color, horizon lines, reflections and water surface, then find our own expression in watercolor. Working from photographs of Monet’s Giverny taken by Dawn, you will create your own paintings while learning a variety of techniques, including special effects glazing, dry-brush, wet on wet, washes and more. This is one in a series of five classes designed to be taken in sequence or individually.
