Layered Faces

In this two-day workshop, we will create abstracts of the face using a variety of techniques to build thick, deep layers on canvas, using very few and inexpensive supplies. You will learn how to obtain a beautiful encaustic look without using messy hot wax and crock pots, and you will learn how to create depth, dimension, texture, and contrast. We will use paint, medium, scrap paper, deli paper, and ephemera to create amazing works of art!
