Dear Shake Rag Alley Community Members,
We remain committed to our mission and to contributing to Mineral Point’s creative economy, but with the health and safety of our instructors, students, and staff in mind, we will remain closed through the end of May despite the state Supreme Court’s dismissal of Wisconsin’s Safer at Home orders regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
While we work with instructors to reschedule spring workshops, we are contacting enrolled students regarding our emergency cancellation policy effective March 20:
– We are offering registered students whose workshops are being rescheduled a transferable gift certificate for future workshops through 2021.
– Students with lodging reservations will be offered gift certificates in the full amount of their booking.
– We ask students registered in workshops starting in June and beyond not to make any changes to their enrollment at this time.
While our office remains closed to the public through the end of the month, we are checking voicemail and email daily and continue to ask everyone to follow best practices for illness prevention.
We’ll be spending the rest of this month preparing our classrooms and guest rooms for our reopening, and communicating with students, instructors, and guests about what they can expect as we implement safety protocols in accordance with state and CDC guidelines.
We continue to be grateful for your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at email@example.com or (608) 987-3292.
With sincere thanks,
Sara Lomasz Flesch
