Using colored construction paper, a household blender, and lots of water, we will make some paper pulp. We’ll then pour the pulp into cookie cutters in the shape of flowers on screens stretched in embroidery hoops over small pails. Using a second color of pulp for the center of the flower, we will add seeds. Next we will sponge out the water and let the paper flowers dry. When dry, the flowers can be planted. These make a great gift for your dad or grandpa on Father’s Day. Grades K-6.
