Handmade Paper Flowers

June 15, 2020

Schedule: Monday, 10-11am

Instructor: Elizabeth Johanna

Registration Deadline: Registration Closed

Description

With the health and safety of our instructors, students, staff, and volunteers in mind, this workshop is being delivered as an art kit with companion written, video, or Zoom instructions. Kits will be available to pick up or mail from Shake Rag Alley the day the class would have been held on our campus.

If any kits remain, they will be available in the Youth Program Marketplace after the class date.

Pour pulp into flower-shaped cookie cutters on screens stretched in embroidery hoops over small pails. Using a second color of pulp for the center of the flower, add seeds. Sponge out the water and let the paper flowers dry. When dry, the flowers can be planted. These make a great gift for your dad or grandpa on Father’s Day. Grades K-6.
