Bee a social butterfly and invite a swarm of your creepy crawly friends to come stay awhile at your bee-utiful new inn for insects. Your bug hotel will benefit your garden by providing a safe environment in which beneficial insects and small creatures can lodge. We will use natural and upcycled materials to create a one of a kind and upscale guest house for bees, butterflies, and ladybugs, oh my! All materials provided.

Jonna has finally settled down in Mineral Point as the Program Manager at Shake Rag Alley after various professional opportunities in historic preservation and the arts led her to several U.S. states and Europe. With a head for historic preservation and a heart for art, she earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in historic preservation from the Savannah College of Art & Design and went on to direct their study abroad program in France. Jonna is an amateur mixed media artist, painter, maker, and unbridled collector of art supplies and paper scraps.
Workshops
Add the $125 Woodlanders Day Fee for Thursday (or $65 Half-Day Fee) to your cart, then select as many Thursday workshops as you wish, ensuring that your choices don’t overlap times. Materials fees listed at the end of each workshop description will be added to the shopping cart as you make your selections.
Day fees include: your choice of workshops, lunch, snacks, beverages, and evening activities. Thursday and Sunday registrants are welcome to attend evening events on Friday or Saturday.
Half-day fees include: your choice of morning/afternoon workshops, am/pm snacks, and beverages. Does NOT include lunch, which can be purchased separately.
