Description

This class is for students who have experience with artist-quality oil pastel. Enhance your skill level and increase your repertoire of techniques by working through exercises that will uncover your deficits in the handling of this medium. As a class we will examine what a working artist’s process looks like so we are able to recognize and develop our own process, finding working efficiencies and our creative flow. Learn how a sketch book can be used to feed our imaginations and vision, and techniques to transfer ideas from the sketch book into compositions, develop ideas into a series of works, develop compositions, and color considerations to create visual harmony. Explore our sensitive selves and how this feeds our imaginations and drives our creative process.
