Want to know what fold-forming is about? Fold-forming is a technique in which metal is heated repeatedly while folding, unfolding, forging, and forming it. Working with copper you’ll learn some basic folds, plus how to use hammers to move metal. After trying your hand at each you’ll be encouraged to create a pendant using your favorite folds while including a stone or other found object. You’ll leave the workshop with a sculptural piece of wearable art of your own creation!
Materials fee includes copper, chain, findings, and stone to incorporate into pendant.
