Alley Stage Reading Series: “News for the Deaf Man”

Our third annual Alley Stage Reading Series continues with Madison-based playwright Brian James Polak’s play-in-progress, “News for the Deaf Man.”

The reading will be followed by a talkback session and reception at the Art Cafe patio sponsored by Hook’s Cheese and The Cider Farm. In the event of rain, this event will take place in the Sardeson Studio.

About “News for the Deaf Man:” Having reached rock bottom, Harry reconnects with his estranged artist father. When the old man’s health appears in decline, Harry is caught between cashing in his famous father’s art in order to save himself, and reconciling their long-ago destroyed relationship.
