Floating Collage: Composition Big & Little

In this workshop we will first explore the making of our own unique papers. Repurposing found papers to create new marks and designs. Allowing our outer to inspire the inner works of assembling the mixture of mind and materials. This will involve the use of many tools that may flash us back to our younger days. Though we know so much more now as adults, we may have forgotten how important it is to know the tools we are working with. Working with all aspects from the edges of the papers to the center of the collage work we will draw our vision into focus—challenging the best creatives. Composition never grows old, working on wood panels will emphasize placement and arrangement from size to series.
