Time Is On My Side

By connecting the past lives of objects with our own lives, we can build art that explores issues like memory, nostalgia, history, or the nature of time itself. All found objects have a story to tell. It is up to us to save them from being lost to time. Gary will provide assorted clock bodies with the clock parts removed, making them frames for new stories. It is time to think outside the clock, work with layers, and combine multiple objects into a complex work of art. Gary will also provide all the found objects you need to make your piece but feel free to bring your own clock bodies, substrates, and found objects that you have collected for assemblage. Gary will teach the basics of assemblage construction and mixed media techniques, provide tools, mediums and lots of objects. Three days, free crap, cool art, and lots of fun.
