Art Adventure | Inside/Outside Boxes

Using cigar boxes and a variety of mixed media materials we will create self-portraits that explore how we express ourselves, both in our public persona by embellishing the outside of the box with representative images, objects, and text, and our inner lives on the inside of the box with other representations. The result is a kind of personal shrine that celebrates who we are from both the outside and the inside. Please bring personal photos, objects, pieces of writing, and any other things you would like to include in your box. Materials fee includes a wooden cigar box, adhesives, assorted ephemera and objects, fabric, trims, and other embellishments.
