Bird Nest Fabric Vessel

Students will create a 3-dimensional bird’s nest using both weaving and hand stitching techniques.Suzi will provide a kit of fibers, feathers, threads and props used to make the nest, and written directions. Additional nests can be made at home by supplying new fibers and threads. These little nests make charming gifts.

Level Beginner and above

Student Supply List Hand sewing needles (size 9 or 10 sharps are good), thimble (if you use one), small sharp scissors (a needle-threader is helpful, but not required).
