Botanical Gel Plate Printing

We will begin our botanical journey by gathering plant materials from the beautiful Shake Rag Campus. Then it’s back to the studio to play with paints and the gel plate. Even beginners can get amazingly detailed results from the botanicals. We will print lots of plant material the first day, then create a beautiful 8″ X 10″ transparent suncatcher with your favorite print on day two. You will go home with the gel plate (included in materials fee) and continue to discover the many ways to use this new artist’s tool. Materials Fee includes: 8″ X 10″ gel plate, paints, wet strength tissue papers, silk organza, glues, framing materials.
