Exotic Mosaic Tile

Create a beautiful eclectic objet d’ art, combining an array of various types of glass and vintage or costume jewelry on a large ceramic tile in this two-day class. We will work with small, colorful glass tiles, Van Gogh glass, stained glass, mirror glass, and deconstructed jewelry. You will learn basic glass-cutting techniques (it’s remarkably easy!). Bring jewelry you wish to incorporate; an array of costume jewelry will be provided as well. Materials Fee includes: Adhesive, the base tile, and a variety of glass types. This project is not grouted.

Student Supply List A wheel type glass cutter as well as a pistol grip glass cutter, and any additional jewelry desired. A couple of each of these tools will be available for student use.
