Intro to Weaving on a 4-Harness Loom

Learn to set up a loom independently, sampling plain weave and several twills. You can choose to make a scarf, table runner, or wall art with a 10 inch wide, 3 yard long warp. We will learn to read pattern drafts, empowering you to continue exploring fabric structures autonomously beyond the class. On day one we’ll wind the three yard warp and “dress” the loom (put the warp on the loom). On day two we weave, starting with twill samplers for at least a few inches. Materials Fee Includes your color choice of appropriate (size matters) natural fiber yarns.
