Large Mosaic Planter

Create a beautiful large mosaic planter, turning a plain clay or ceramic pot into a true showcase for potted annuals. We will use hammer and plates to make shards and caulk adhesive for a heavy duty vessel that will stand up to the elements and provide true visual delight. We will grout on day two. Materials Fee includes: a selection of plates to smash, adhesive, and grout.

Student Supply List Bring a large pot of your choice. The pot pictured is about 12” high and 10” in diameter. A large terra cotta clay pot, for example is about 9-10” tall and about 15” across at the top, would be perfect for this project. Glazed pots are not suitable, as the adhesive doesn’t want to stick to it.
