Blacksmithing for Beginners: Fire and Hammers

Have you ever wanted to dip your toes (metaphorically … no actual toe-dipping allowed) into the world of blacksmithing? Join us for two days of fire and hammers. Learn the basics of blacksmithing using a gas forge. Learn tapers, curls, twists, and shaping red-hot metal into functional tool or art. Time allowing, we’ll be making a triangle to call family and friends to dinner, an S-hook to hang your favorite planter, a bottle opener to use on your favorite bottled beverage, and an oriole feeder.
