Exploring Oil & Cold Wax in Abstract Painting

This workshop covers not only the basics of getting started in Cold Wax and Oil Abstract painting, but also how to mix an infinite range of colors using a limited palette, how to create shapes you love and make the most of glazing, texture and line in abstract painting. Many dry forms of media can be used with cold wax and oil for a mixed media approach, including oil pastels, graphite powder, inktense, pencils and collage. Numerous demos and a design and color presentation will help students understand design, composition and how to achieve harmony. Plenty of one-on-one instruction with Pamela Caughey will allow a customized workshop experience for each student! All levels are welcome.
