A Lily from the Fire

In this 2-day class, we’ll be making a decorative piece consisting of two or more lilies fixed in a round base. We’ll be bringing the lilies to life by shaping, texturing, bending metal using a gas forge, anvil and hammers. While each of you will start with the same pieces of iron, each lily will be a unique expression of your individual labor and creative vision. Bring your closed-toe shoes and your creative juices for this journey into the world of fire and hammers.
