freakishly fun fundraiser to celebrate the season
Join us Saturday October 26th, 2024 for the fourth annual A Ghostly Gathering featuring a variety of festive experiences (with a lean toward spectacle & the side show) on our 2.5-acre campus in the historic heart of Mineral Point! Proceeds from this fall fundraiser support Shake Rag Alley arts and crafts programming and historic preservation.
Gates Open 5:30 PM / Last Call 10:00 PM
$25 advance tickets available through October 25. Tickets are $30 at the door. Tickets are non-refundable. This is a rain or shine or snow event.
Admission to the event on our main campus at 18 Shake Rag St. includes:
- One drink ticket. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the grounds.
- 7:00 pm Fire Show featuring fire breathing & angle grinding with Miss Mega and fire dancing with Natalie Heck
- 8:00-10:00 pm live music with Feast of Mutton
- Tarot Readings with On The Go Tarot
- Magic with Brandon Gorrell! Carnival Games! & more
- A costume contest with cash prizes Â
- A Night Market of unique crafters, makers, and artists. Tented vendor spots available or sell your wares under the stars.
Costumes and decorative masks are encouraged. A Ghostly Gathering celebrates the ephemeral, the uncanny, the witchy and wonderful about the season.Â

With food trucks, wicked s’mores & more, we’ve got your eats & treats all over campus, including libations and NA options.
Sara’s Street Food features Filipino Street food, Boba and more! Chef’s Hideout offers a range of options from burgers & sandwiches to sides.
All original gypsy/folk/rock music out of Dubuque IA. Feast of Mutton has been performing original music for over 15 years, using tenor banjo, gourd banjo, guitars, and other instruments to create the eerie melancholy sounds of Eastern European, West African, and American Folk music.Â
Enjoy a Fire Show featuring fire breathing & angle grinding with Miss Mega and fire dancing with Natalie Heck (back by popular demand from last year!).Â
nIGHT MARKET
The Night Market brings together unique crafters, artists & artisans, makers of autumn and halloween-themed items, and anyone whose wares are ready for this special events and its magical, haunted, or disguised patrons.Â
Vendors are encouraged to dress in costume and decorate their tables. Limited electricity available. Please bring your own table coverings and display items, and battery-powered lights if you have them.

magic & Carnival Games
We’ll have carnival games & fun across campus, including magic with Brandon Gorrell. Brandon is a Florida born, raised in Iowa magician who has practiced the art for over 15 years and performed for celebrities such as Seth Rogen, Kevin Smith, and Craig Robinson.Â

Enjoy readings, including with Renee from On The Go Tarot in our historic buildings for a unique experience.Â
